The Green Ummah Guide to National Wildlife Areas in Southern Ontario

The Green Ummah Guide to National Wildlife Areas in Southern Ontario was created in partnership with Nature Canada to encourage Canadian Muslims to visit National Wildlife Areas and Migratory Bird Sanctuaries, and to highlight the important role these protected nature spaces play in preserving the natural ecosystem.

Our goal is to foster a deeper connection to wildlife and nature, prompt reflections and connections with the Quran and Islamic teachings, and to share knowledge on conservation efforts for these habitats.

By learning about the different natural spaces and creatures mentioned in this guide, you will appreciate Allah’s amazing creation. We invite you to experience the suggested activities alongside friends and family and welcome you to share your experience with Green Ummah on our social media.
