Green Ummah offers specialized workshops designed to educate and inspire students, educators, and community members across schools, corporate boards, mosques, and community organizations. Our workshops are focused on environmental sustainability, nature conservation, environmental racism and Islam’s teachings related to stewardship of the Earth.
We have recently expanded our offerings to include workshops on The Green Ummah Guide to National Wildlife Areas in Southern Ontario, targeted at Islamic schools and in community spaces across Canada. These sessions engage students from elementary school through high school in a comprehensive exploration of nature. We focus on the relevance of migratory bird sanctuaries and connect the discussion to relevant Qur’anic verses, fostering a deeper understanding of Allah (S.W.T.)’s remarkable creation and the importance of caring for the Earth.
